Businesses communicate by many means in the 21st century, but the meeting is still the cornerstone of every business' daily operations. And as communication tools have proliferated, the number of meetings and the amount of meeting spaces have only increased.
These spaces must be more flexible and tech-heavy than ever to accommodate meetings that range from 2 people with smart phones from just steps away in the building to 12-person multi-departmental groups sending and receiving intranet and internet-based data and video content with other groups across town, the country or the world. And the likelihood of this technology to change and grow along with the expanding needs of a greater number of users is possibly more critical than any other element of a facility as it seeks to support a greater number of users working in shifting teams in an increasingly collaborative environment.
So, how is a facility manager to keep up with all this?

Their audio/visual system engineers will discuss the state of A/V systems currently being deployed into schools, businesses, municipal facilities and houses of worship. The formal presentation will be about 40 minutes with ample time to ask questions and see examples of current technology.
