Summer is winding down, and the Northeast Wisconsin chapter of IFMA invites you to come together again with your fellow facilities cohorts at out kickoff meeting on Tuesday, September 15th. Once again, we will be in downtown Green Bay to tour one of the newest additions to its growing list of amenities—Backstage at the Meyer.

This multi-use building houses an additional stage and expanded gathering areas for attendees at the main theater plus areas for private events. On the second floor, Breakthrough Fuel has fitted out its leased space into a showpiece headquarters for its growing business, including a unique rooftop patio. We will tour both facilities and attend a brief presentation on the conversion of a defunct nightclub into this premier new facility in Green Bay’s revitalizing downtown. Leading both of these events will be Jeff Mirkes of Downtown Green Bay, Inc. and Jim Hebel, the project site supervisor from Smet who oversaw the construction and renovation project on the building.

Wrapping up the event will be a brief state-of-the-chapter presentation from incoming president Linda Glass as well as the opportunity to continue the conversation and network with your fellow FM’s at the Black & Tan Lounge across the street with hors d’ oeuvres and a cash bar. Help us start the 2015-2016 IFMA year off right—register for the meeting today!
