Marley Gast, Architect, McMahon Engineering Architecture

Marley Gast is an architect at McMAHON, an Architectural/Engineering firm in Neenah. Since joining McMAHON in 2001, her focus has been healthcare and educational projects. For the past 8 years she’s been actively involved in projects utilizing Lean principles throughout design and construction. She has a B.A. in Art History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Juanita Frankurth is the Manager of Continuous Improvement at the Boldt Company, Juanita works closely with project teams during both the preconstruction and construction phases to integrate the core components that influence reliable information: people, process and innovative technology. She applies Lean Business Principles to achieve cost, quality and scheduling improvements for clients as well as facilitating a collaborative approach to innovative project delivery.

Juanita joined Boldt with over twelve years of AEC industry experience. Working in both the architecture and facility management disciplines, she developed a broad range of knowledge and skills regarding automation engineering, building design and construction, CAD administration and project management. With her responsibilities, she acquired a unique appreciation for the flow of digital building data between people, processes and various technology platforms. Whether it is an interactive planning session, a field walk-through to observe the plan in action or a follow-up session to measure results and identify improvements-Juanita utilizes Plan-Do-Check-Act to foster a problem-solving culture. Juanita’s goal is to help the project team maximize the use of reliable building information and continuous improvement to increase efficiency and reduce waste throughout the design and construction process.
