Hacking the Hybrid Workplace

At the risk of belaboring the obvious, the world of work has forever changed as a result of the pandemic. Company leadership is still feeling its way through 'business as (un)usual', and facility managers and their teams have struggled to come to grips with building operations and the requirements of the executives to which they report and the associates they serve in the face of a work force that is sometimes there, sometimes not.

The Northeast Wisconsin chapter of IFMA, together with the Madison and Southeast Wisconsin chapters, will be hosting a day-long seminar event with an emphasis on the ins and outs of hybrid working as it affects facility development and operations. Attendees will get the benefit of 3 keynote speakers plus a host of breakout sessions. Our venue for this event is the recently-completed Resch Expo--this event space offers the latest in conference and event spaces and amenities and magnificent views of Lambeau Field across Oneida Street and the Don Hutson Center & Packer practice field across Armed Forces Drive.

Back by popular demand, we will also offer another tour of Lambeau Field for anyone who did not get the opportunity to go in 2018 (TOUR IS NOW CLOSED DUE TO LAMBEAU'S REQUIREMENT FOR A FINAL HEADCOUNT). We will also be hosting a FREE gathering the evening before at The Turn, a nearby restaurant/entertainment venue, to facilitate some networking with FM colleagues (and some fun and games as well).

For those who wish to get one CFM maintenance activity credit for attending the conference, we will provide a certificate at the end of the day that you can submit. Simply let one of the committee members know you need one before you leave that day.

Resch Expo details - attendees will need to use the Blue lot east of the facility on Armed Forces Drive. Take the stairs or elevator to the second floor for the event.

Kick off Tri-Chapter Conference 2023 with a FREE networking event the night before at The Turn. It's a perfect mash-up of adult play place, restaurant and lounge that will help you unwind from the week so far, renew connections with colleagues you haven't seen for a while, and make new contacts in the industry who do what you do. While eating, conversing and imbibing, you can let out some energy by participating in some of the electronic games in the two suites we've reserved (golf or zombie dodgeball, anyone?). Food, fun and fellowship for free--what's not to love? So why drive at dawn for the conference when you can head up the night before and have this kind of fun? Haven't you earned it?
