Society Insurance's headquarters building has been a fixture on the south side of Fond du Lac overlooking Highway 41 for nearly three decades. When the decision was made to undertake a comprehensive renovation, a wish list was developed that included the following items:

• Better utilization of original building design to maximize space and natural light coming in
• Lighting replacement with LED for improved efficiency & environment
• Create flexible collaborative spaces which support the needs of individual business units
• Improve technology to support the collaborative spaces and remote conferencing capabilities
• Improvement of technology, lighting, and furniture for more effective usage of BOD room
• Remodeling of cafeteria and re-purpose of supply room space
• Provide more meeting spaces/conference rooms
• Create a welcoming yet secure work environment
• Improvement in hospitality/customer experience and curb appeal
• Ensure that employees are happy and engaged – attraction and retention of employees
• Improve communication & the spread of knowledge
• Incorporate wellness & ergonomics
